Regional Director

The regional director is an elected position that serves as the chief administrator for the region and as the primary liaison between the association officers, Central Office, other regional directors, project program teams, and member institutions.


Regional Leadership Teams

There are 13 positions on the Regional Leadership Team in each of ACUI’s eight regions, all playing an important role in the success of regional programs and services through their dedication as volunteers.


Regional Conference Planning Teams

Members of these teams collaborate with the regional conference coordinator to plan all needs before, during, and after the regional conference each year.

Graphic Designers

Duties include graphics support for regional conference activities, educational programs, awards and scholarship announcements, and other initiatives of the region. Application must include two-four examples of past work with varying artistic elements.

Qualifications 
Undergraduate students, graduates students, full-time professionals

Time Commitment
December–March: Sporadic
April–November: As needed for Regional Conference

Special Contributors
Duties include creating content for quarterly newsletter and assisting in creating and editing conference scripts.

Time Commitment
Quarterly contributions, one to three hours every four months

Multi-Media Group
Video Production

Duties include creating promotional videos for conferences and other programs.

Undergraduate students, graduates students, full-time professionals and institutions/departments

Time Commitment
June, October/November; Regional Conference attendance encouraged

Photographer

Duties include documenting regional conferences (travel required) and other programs as available.

Qualifications 
Undergraduate students, graduates students, full-time professionals

Time Commitment
Primarily October/November; Regional Conference attendance required

Social Media Street Team

Duties include creating content or social media posts and committing to supporting other social media posts.

Time Commitment
4–5 hours per month

 

Historian/Archivist
Duties include developing archival system for regional history, developing web content related to regional history, and connecting with past conference chairs, regional directors, awards and scholarship coordinators, and other individuals as needed.

Full-time professionals

Time Commitment
One to two hours per week for first four months; subsequent time commitment would be two to three hours per month
