Region IV invites you on a journey to the beautiful and adventurous Salt Lake City, September 27–29.

During this year's regional conference, Region IV would like to call attention to the diversity of experiences in student centers and unions. Every journey has a story, and you are encouraged to arrive ready to share the stories. Get excited to explore the University of Utah, the beautiful Wasatch front, and the vibrant, flourishing community that is found in Salt Lake City.

Educational Sessions

We need you to share your knowledge with the region! Submit an educational session proposal for the regional conference by June 30.

Keynote
Lance Allred, the first deaf player in NBA history, will be one of the keynote speakers at this year's regional conference. Allred challenges his audience to identify their self-limiting beliefs by sharing how his experience of growing up in a polygamist culture created his own constricting psychological boundaries and how he eventually was able to break free. Registration will be available July 1! Rates will begin at $200 for professional members through July 28. All fees will be posted soon.

Book your rooms at the University Guest House, located on the University of Utah campus. Mention the ACUI Regional Conference to get the conference rate: $112 for a king or $112 for double queens.

Travel

From the Airport to Hotel

Transportation from Salt Lake International Airport to the University Guest House is available through the following methods:

  • UTA TRAX: Use Salt Lake Valley’s light rail system. To reach the University Guest House from the airport, take the Green Line to Court House and transfer to the Red Line to University. For a detailed map visit the UTA TRAX website. The one way fare to and form the airport is $2.50.
  • Taxi & Shuttle: Taxi and shuttle services are available at the Ground Transportation Desk at either terminal.
 
Hotel Parking

Parking is free in the lot surrounding the University Guest House.

The Campus Shuttle is available to and from the University Union. It has two main routes: the red and blue line. The red line travels clockwise around campus and the blue travels the same route, but counter-clockwise. You can view a live tracker of the shuttles at UofUBus.com.

To take the shuttle from the Guest House to the University Union, board the blue; to take the shuttle from the University Union to the Guest House, board the red shuttle. Both lines have stops at each location.

Those choosing to drive to the University Union may find parking in the visitor lot (campus map). It is $2/hour.
